Managing second-hand anxiety
It is hard to not get bitten by second-hand anxiety. Colleagues complaining about work issues, family unhappy with situations in their lives, friends’ breakups, crazy news coming at you at the speed of light every 5 minutes are hard to ignore. You want to be there for some and ignore others. How can you do it without going out of your mind and having your energy completely depleted?
