Think of artists as brands

Troy Carter, Lady Gaga's business manager, mixes old fashion marketing techniques with new media to create a mega brand. His first order of business: think of artists as brands. His relationship with Lady Gaga: 95/5. She makes 95% of the creative decisions, he only 5%. He makes 95% of the business decisions, she only 5%.
