Knowing when to cut your losses

Failure happens. Products that you thought will revolutionize the industry will turn out to be total failures. Either you got in the game too late (Microsoft's phones) or too early (Apple's Newton) or you simply didn't hit the mark with the consumer (HP's TouchPad). The smart thing to do is to know when to cut your losses and stop burning good money. Yes, your ego will take a beating. But, better the ego than your pocket book. Cut your losses, learn the lessons, and move on.
