Play a game, Win a Mini

Here is an innovative way to use smart phone apps to as a part of an interactive marketing campaign. Last October, MINI created an iPhone app that engaged thousands of people in Stockholm in a game whose reward was winning a new MINI Countryman. The campaign, called MINI Getaway Stockholm involved over 11,000 people who moved the virtual MINI over 1500 miles and it was viewed by others in over 90 countries. Most interestingly, the average participant spent over 5 hours of continuous game playing time.
