eCommerce to expand internationally in 2011



A recent Forester study shows that eCommerce will expand significantly internationally in 2011. According to the researchers, more companies are creating eCommerce sites target primarily two markets: China and Brazil. Here are expected trends for 2011:

  • International shipping options will be increasingly commonplace
  • Companies will leverage their domestic infrastructure before going fully global
  • eBusiness globalization departments will continue to be centralized
  • China will be top of mind for many eBusinesses
  • Brazil will also be on the radar of eBusinesses expanding internationally
