Facebook Browsing Used More than Web Browsing

According to FastCompany, social browsing is surpassing web browsing. Females between the ages of 21 and 29 spend up to 5 hours a day on Facebook and very little to none time on the web. Here are some recommendations for companies and brands on how to increase their visibility on Facebook:

  • Make sure your website has the "like" button. According to Facebook, since the company introduce the concept back in April, there are over 2 million websites with the "like" button embedded.
  • Build your Facebook page in such way that is as comprehensive as your regular website.
  • Make it easier for people to navigate and to stay on your Facebook page.
