Oversharing? There Is A Cure For That

So, you have a friend on Facebook, someone you follow on Twitter who constantly overshares. 20,000 plus tweets since 2009! That's a bit excessive. Do you really want to know everything about them? How do you deal with them without blocking them? Well, Pringles has the solution. The company created a "Oversharer" button you can add to any of your friends on Facebook. They also give a quick checklist for identifying if YOU are an oversharer. Here it is:

  1. Think before you type: does anyone give a chip you're ironing your pants? (did I mention this was Pringles UK)
  2. What how often: on update 27 and it's only 9 AM? STOP!
  3. Do cool stuff: then you'll actually have something interesting to say.
  4. Know your audience: do 378 people need to know you're on the loo? (gotta love those Brits)
  5. Help others like you: download the Overshare button for Facebook

Check it out ! And don't be afraid to add the button to those friends who really overshare - all the time.
