Life After the Climate Change Conference




The grand finale of the Climate Change Conference was a big non-commitment to say the least. At the end, there was a lot of finger pointing. The BASIC group (Brazil, South Africa, India, China) led by China requested developed countries to increase their emission levels. In turn, developed countries demanded compliance to transparency.

Many "Cleantech" companies which counted in a boost from a Copenhagen accord are now frantically changing their strategies. The Copenhagen Accord was supposed to provide an enormous amount of money and support towards developing new technology. The question is what will happen next?
